BACKGROUND HISTORY
The first bus owned by William Bellis was a Dennis 30 cwt registration number DM6286 purchased new. He operated a service from Mynydd Isa and Buckley to Llay Main Colliery.
In April 1950 William was joined by his son Robert and the business changed to William Bellis & Son. Robert died in 1958 and the business transferred to Mrs Vera Bellis, wife of Robert. The business continued into the 1960s.
