GHA Routes / Services

From the depots at Ruabon, Tarvin. Winsford, Ruthin and Shrewsbury GHA operated many services. At some stage you could find a GHA vehicle operating as far West as Barmouth and as far East as Manchester.

Some of the services were subsidised or run under contract from Local Authorities whereas a number were commercial.

This page lists most of the services that the 'Group' at some stage operated. It does not include school and college services. In additional to a number of these services that were registered with the Traffic Commissioners the group also operated numerous 'scholar' journeys under contract to the various Local authorities or the educational establishments themselves.

The first list below are the services that were in operation at the time of the demise in July 2016. Notes are offered of what has happened to these services since.

The second list are services the 'Group' previously operated showing the dates involved.

Lastly, at the bottom of this page, there are some notes on some 'special' services that the company operated.
