BACKGROUND HISTORY

This operator began business about 1924 with a Ford TT 14 seater charabanc. He ran services from Treuddyn to Wrexham,  Treuddyn to Mold and Coed Talon to Ruthin. In 1932 he purchased new a Guy FBB – registered number DM7678 with 32 seats. 

In November 1932 he surrendered his licences to the Wrexham based Western Transport that soon afterwards was taken over by Crosville.  Idris then went to work for Crosville and was in charge of the Johnstown on its closure in 1972.
