Terry G Ross

Stansty Road, Wrexham

BACKGROUND HISTORY

Terry Ross was previously a professional soldier reaching the rank of sergeant major. Immediately before commencing the business he had been a transport manager in a local haulage company. He started his own business in 1979 with a minibus undertaking mainly private hire.

The business extended to stage carriage services with a local route involving the Stansty Colliery Houses to St George's Crescent via King Street (the main bus station).

Contracts to schools and factories followed including a run to a factory in Mold.

In 1996 he sold the business to the expanding GHA Coaches and five vehicles transferred - 4 coaches and a minibus.
