The business was started in 1977 by David and Patricia Davies. Their first vehicle operated was a Ford Transit minibus and was driven during the day by Pat on a school contract and David drove the vehicle evenings on private hire work. By 1991 their sons Keith and Mark had joined the business and the operations of the business extended to continental tours.

In addition to numerous school contracts there was also a number of routes operated including services around Wrexham.

The business was formed into a limited company in 2002 with Pat as Company Secretary and with Keith and Mark directing the business.

In 2011 most of the service work was transferred to GHA Coaches Ltd together with 4 service vehicles. One service vehicle was retained to operate the Wrexham Townlynx service but this service is no longer operated following the withdrawal of funding by the Council.

Today the company operates a fleet of distinctive liveried vehicles. Some vehicles are in the livery of Leger Travel and spend a considerable time on continental journeys. Other coaches of the fleet are also involved in continental travel.

A number of school contracts are performed in particular involving Penley School. There is also substantial private hire work undertaken including those relating to the Wrexham football club for which a well fitted out 'Team Coach' is employed 

In January 2018 the firm purchased a Versa service bus from D Jones and Son after they ceased trading and commenced operating the 146 Wrexham Whitchurch service.  This Versa has since been replaced by an interesting 31 seater Ilesbus I-City MAX bodied Iveco Daily.

In 2020, in addition to the work carried out for Leger Travel, further contracts were obtained to operate tours on behalf of Shearings.  The original company Shearlngs collapsed during the early part of 2020 but the brand was acquired by Leger Holidays and tours are now being operated by various operators on their behalf.

Sadly Pat Davies died on Christmas Eve 2022 at the age of 76.
